Resume

August 2018 - May 2021

B.A. in Anthropology with Honors and Suma Cum Laude designation

Major in Anthropology and Minor in Law and Society.
My degree gives me the ability to understand and navigate cultures other than my own. Customs and traditions can be confusing for new comers especially if a different language is involved. My training makes it easy for me.

August 2015 - June 2018

Associate Degree in Social Science and in Anthropology

I earned my Associate from Pasadena City College in California. This experience allowed me to discover what a Community College had to offer as well as what I wanted to do. I competed nationally on the debate team and changed my major from business to anthropology.

October 2016 - May 2021

Starbucks Shift Supervisor (promoted from Barista in 2018)

I worked part time while going to school. This experience immersed me into American culture and gave me a unique insight into working as an international student. Working is not allowed for everyone but I can help you with the process.

September 2014 - June 2015

Business School 3A in Lyon

After two years abroad, I tried to start a school in France. While it was really interesting, I found that I was more attracted by the American system and decided to complete my academic journey in California instead.

September 2013 - May 2014

Study Abroad in Beijing

I studied Chinese for a year at Minzu University in Beijing. This experience was incredible but also eye-opening for my future. I found that California was a better fit for me and it allowed me to pursue that with no hesitation.

September 2012 - June 2013

Study Abroad in Santa Barbara

My first experience abroad was right after high school. As a teenager I was tired of going to school and wasn't ready to start my secondary education journey. I was eager to discover another place and I can say that this year abroad was one of the best experience of my life.
